Guest appearances

I'm often at home when taking product photos. As a result we often have guest appearances from little faces who love to feel that they really should be the main focus :)

New Christmas Ornaments - Fluorescent Pink

Our new fluorescent Christmas Ornaments. I took advantage of the prestorm light in the garden to take a photo of our new ornaments. They are very very bright but look really nice against our grey shed hung on an old branch!

New Christmas Ornaments

Zesty ornaments designed to brighten our trees this Christmas particularly for those Perth residents who will be expecting a hot Christmas. These ornaments will be perfect to look at whilst eating having a cool drink and feasting on prawns :) Ginderbread man is not edible. Printed and made in North Perth.

MoMA Holiday Card - bestseller!

We are very pleased our MoMA card for 2012 has been listed as a bestseller on the Museum of Modern Art (New York) web store!  We have also had our design for 2013 approved... yippee!!

Christmas sacks hot off the press today

100% Cotton,
100% freshly screenprinted with eco-friendly inks
100% stitched in Perth.

We printed our best ever batch of Christmas Sacks today... available at the Perth Upmarket this Sunday. Get there EARLY it's perfect at 9am and you have the best choice of everything!

New toy

Our new cutter arrived yesterday and today we had time to test it out... all 2.6m of it! Despite the fact that in the photo I'm only cutting a very small piece of our new fabric, I had just been cutting full widths of fabric with ease. This new tool will also help with cutting our lampshade film.

Extra Large Serving Boards for a limited time

Here is a brand new design based on the Wildflower Mural in the windows of Aspects, Kings Park. The close up shows the Qualup Bells and Cranbrook Bells.

This is an extra large board 495 x 280mm and made from a single solid board. This has made it extremely difficult to source the raw material and so we can only offer this size for a limited time. With all that extra space you can expand your range of cheese offerings!

Our lovely water-based printing inks...

Our inks had a clean out today. For anyone who knows and works with colour on a professional level - I made sure I got the colour temperature gauge in the photo ;)

Photos from the workshop

Printed, pressed, cut, sanded, finished, boxed and sent. A custom order finished yesterday.
Coffee needed before sanding a new batch :)

Free Shipping within Australia

Did you know we offer free shipping within Australia? The only exception is for shipping lampshades... why? we like to know our lampshades will get to you in good order so all lampshades are sent by courier at the flat rate so will be with in a couple of days.

Our shop currently only takes payment from Australian addresses but please email us if you are overseas and we will be happy to process your order.

Perth Upmarket - next market 25th November

Here is some of our new shades from the Upmarket last weekend. We sold out of all the red ones! Now all we have to do is get all our new products ready for the next Upmarket, dare we say the "Christmas" one? Eeeek!

We advise coming at 10am - you get first viewing before the crowds arrive!

Sunday 25th November
Winthrop Hall at University of Western Australia

Miniature Garden

Miniature flowers such as Pouched Grevilleas, Starflowers, Geraldton Wax, Flannel flowers and Kalgan Boronias. Available in Dark Plum / Dark Green / Light Grey.

MoMA holiday cards arrived today

It's so nice to see the final result! This design has angled folds to try and create
an architectural feel to the card.

New Wildflower Magnet sets

Handy names on the back in case you want to tick off what you've seen :) The Grevilleas can only be seen in Kings Park Botanic Gardens as they are critically endangered.

WIldflower Coasters - New Boxed set

We like to think this boxed set is a nice introduction to our wildflowers. We will be launching more designs available as individual coasters so you can pick and choose your favourite flowers. This means that quite a few old designs will be retired to make way for these spring fresh designs :)

New Lampshades in store!

This design shown on one of our limited edition Paddock Jarrah woodturned base.

The first wave of new designs are now available. We do have a full catalogue in store and all designs are available as small, medium or large shades with the option for hanging or lampstands. More to come!

A snapshot of the studio - new designs in the making

Testing final colours for the new collection. All the shades will be finished next week. The new wildflower collection catalogue is being printed today... yippeee!

Aspects of Kings Park - some photos

Some photos of the mural on the windows of Aspects. You can't really appreciate the glinting gold from the photos. September is wildflower season and Kings Park Festival hosts lots of events through out the month. More details here.

Here is the giant map we created to jigsaw all the part together. All the drawing were handdrawn on paper, then scanned and converted into cutting files and placed on the giant map to create this swirl effect. The design reflects my journey of discovery into the world of these incredibly rare plants. What surprised me was that so many species of plants are not even classed as rare only occur in a very small area of WA.

If you go to Aspects to visit the mural you can also pick up your very own guide... or print this one!
